Montepulciano-Arte&Arti

The 2019 edition will be the 64th edition of Arte & Arti, Artigianato in Mostra at the Fortress of Montepulciano in Siena. The exhibition will be set up on three floors and will host an infinite variety of artisans who will showcase their art. Quality craftsmanship, market of art objects and selected artisan products but not only; in fact there will also be an area dedicated to local culinary excellence: “Arte dei Sapori”.

Montepulciano is a small pearl of the Tuscan Renaissance which is located on the border with Val D’Orcia (UNESCO site) and is located in the territory of Valdichiana Senese, a place renowned for its landscape, cultural, thermal and wine and food resources.

The competition “Un Mecenate di Strada” inspired by Slow Tourism and dedicated to “Paths and Paths of the Valdichiana Senese” will also be induced: Path of Reclamation, Path of Barlettaia, Path of the Noble, Via Francigena, Via Lauretana, just to mention the most famous. To these can be added all those less traveled paths that lead to the landscape and cultural discovery of the territory. In the context of the ArtEArti Handicraft Trade Show, the Noble Wine Route of Montepulciano and the Sienese Valdichiana Flavors will give a cash prize to those artisans who will best represent the proposed theme, through an original, expressive and technically well done.

Admission is free and will be open from 10:00 to 20:00 also on Easter day.
